Overview

EWCE was appointed to deliver the Car Park extension works at Mirfield Station, West Yorkshire. The existing car park had 31 non-compliant parking spaces plus 4 sub-standard blue badge spaces. The works had to be carried out within a ‘live’ operational railway environment.

The works comprised the following:

EWCE were required to have regular technical liaison with The Client’s Estates Team / The Client’s Local Stations Team, The Project Manager and the Principal Designer with regards:

  • Design deliverables and station specific requirements
  • Collation and co-ordination of design outputs for inclusion into a single GRIP5
