What we believe

The creation of a stable, long term partnership between the commercial activities of the Group and its wider charitable aspirations through the Eric Wright Trust has underpinned the philosophy and culture of the Group over the last 25 years, leading to a style of business which is fair and non-adversarial, based on partnership working and focused on developing long-term relationships to promote long-term stability.

The move to sole ownership of the Group by the Charitable Trust is the culmination of this original philosophy and serves to reinforce an approach to business which considers the overall added value, economic, environmental and social, as the benchmark for success.

All profits generated by the Eric Wright Group are either reinvested in the Group’s business or distributed to the Trust for its charitable work.

This provides stability and growth for the Group, freeing it from the short term aims of institutional shareholders, while enabling the Trust to benefit from the commercial success of the Group and expand its range of charitable activities within the community.
