Pooley Bridge Salad Bowl

One of Eric Wright Civil Engineering’s project managers, Antony Mulligan, was presented with a salad bowl, which had been hand-carved from a tree felled during the construction of the new Pooley Bridge.

It was kindly created by 91 year old resident, Mr Beer, who got to know the team whilst they were occupying part of his garden throughout the construction phase.

The salad bowl has been, proudly, added it to the collection of awards for the bridge.
