Blurton Extracare Scheme
The new building will provide 75 self-contained one and two bedroomed apartments in three blocks linked together by covered bridges. It also has extensive communal facilities including a restaurant, library and fitness suite surrounded by landscaped gardens.
Construction is a maximum of three storey high and mainly traditional brickwork with double pitched tiled roofs on a mixture of piled and traditional foundations. The buildings are designed to meet BREEAM Excellent standards making them both energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
