Eric Wright FM Re-structures with Key Appointments

Preston-based Eric Wright Facilities Management (EWFM), part of the Eric Wright Group, has undergone a management restructure as part of its planned growth strategy.

Tony Bignold has been appointed as Operations Director to oversee the facilities management operations and service delivery. Tony brings with him a wealth of experience in leading operations, developing people and building customer relationships.

As part of the restructure Kate Corden has been promoted to Head of Operations while Rebecca Chrimes steps up to the position of Operations Manager.

A further 9 appointments including graduates, managers and supervisors have also been made bringing the total facilities management team to 140.

Commenting on his appointment Tony Bignold said: “Eric Wright Facilities Management is set for significant expansion and I am delighted to join the team at such an exciting time. I have previously helped companies grow and improve their quality of service  so am looking forward to helping the facilities management team as it faces similar challenges. The range of professional services the FM division offer and the diversity of divisions within the overall Group is really impressive. I was also attracted by the strong ethical values of the Eric Wright Group which delivers significant social value for the region which is something I am passionate about.”

Eric Wright Facilities Management managing director Mark Steed added: “The business has been built on solid foundations and we are now setting our sights on expansion, targeting larger organisations and public sectors contracts and growing our contract base right across the Midlands and the north of England. Investing in our team to ensure we have the best people with the right skills is crucial to achieving our goals. We have undertaken a root and branch review of the business and  have recruited and promoted the best people into senior positions as well as strengthening our foundations with the appointment of graduates and technical specialists.”

He adds: “Ensuring the operational side is operating efficiently and effectively is paramount to achieving that success and Tony has a strong track record of delivering operational excellence. The whole team is now looking forward to an extremely exciting journey as we continue to build this successful business which will in turn create more jobs for the region.”
