Framework contracts

Eric Wright Water Ltd (previously Site Electrical) has worked on the SW E, M and I contract for the last 5 years providing services across the Dumfries and Galloway patch. The works involved cover all aspects of water and wastewater M&E services including an out of hours call out service. We have a dedicated team based in Dumfries with an in-house workforce who deliver all of the works. The framework has accounted for circa £1m per annum of turnover.

Eric Wright Water Ltd were awarded the Rural Framework for Dumfries and Galloway, The Borders and Argyll and Bute. The framework is a multidiscipline contract covering all aspects of water and wastewater services. Our bases at Dumfries and Coatbridge service the contract and again all works are completed in house.

Eric Wright Water were appointed on the Asset Maintenance Service contract in 2014. This replaced the previous maintenance framework we held with STW for the 4 years prior. This work covered all aspects of M&E works up to £25k and amounted to around £3m worth of work per year. Our Current AMS framework has some increased value works up to £100k including an Electrical compliance scheme, regional sample tap works and gridding works. We currently complete around £5m per annum for STW.
We cover the southern area from our office in Bromsgrove and direct deliver 95% of our works.

We are one of three contractors working on the Asset Maintenance Support framework completing multidiscipline projects up to £1m with an average project value of £250k. Again, we look to self-deliver the work with an office and workshop in Bamber Bridge near Preston. We complete a portfolio of projects valuing around £15m per annum.

AMP6 is United Utilities Water Limited’s capital investment framework contract for the delivery of major (design and build) construction projects within the North West region on water and wastewater schemes. In Sept’14, four Construction Delivery Partners were appointed to the framework. EWW is one of two only local, specialist strategic partners to one of these Principal Contractor / Principal Designer (C2V).

Last September we were successful under the direct delivery framework with YW for MEICA projects averaging £50k. We have completed a phosphate removal project for £1.4m under this procurement. We are looking to complete works totalling £4m for 2016 and aim to complete most of the works in house. We are currently growing the team in this area from our base in Bradford.
