Collaboration Takes Paint Performance To A New Level

A new video shows how a ground-breaking collaboration is helping to extend decorating schedules in schools and hospitals.

Crown Paints is working with Eric Wright Facilities Management and CLC Contractors Ltd, to deliver sustainable painting projects in public sector premises across the North West.

The video available to view at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmSPe9Mk54M&feature=youtu.be highlights some of the facilities, such as schools and health centres, which have been transformed by the team’s tailored specification process and high-quality workmanship.

During this process, the group works to gain an in-depth understanding of how each building is used, before applying their combined expertise to make sure the right products are used in each specific location.

Suitable paints are selected to suit each environment, dramatically increasing life-cycles and reducing the number of repaints needed, with redecoration only required after seven to eight years instead of every four to five years.

This increase in life-cycle will reduce costs and make decoration schedules more environmentally-friendly.

Sustainability is at the core of the process, with each building looked at individually to ensure high-end products are used precisely and only where needed.

CGI technology is used to give an impression of how a variety of different paint shades would look in each room.

The team has highlighted that the companies share a common ethos and are dedicated to improving sustainability, cost and convenience for customers.

Paul Cottriall Specification Sales Manager at Crown Paints, said: “The arrangement works very well. We all have the same objective, which is to deliver great service and quality.”
