Civil Engineering award wins from the North West Regional Construction Association (NWRCA)

We were honoured to be recognised by the NWRCA at the 2021 awards with two wins:

The new Pooley Bridge was awarded Project of the Year – Civils. It also won the Cumbria Sub-Regional Project of the Year and was highly commended for Innovation.

The NWRCA commented: “This was a great civil engineering achievement – restoring vital transport links to a community. The submission articulated well how the materials used contributed to the structural and environmental outcomes; the innovative installation in very tight site constraints; the utilisation of off-site manufacture solutions. In addition, extensive community engagement and consultation contributed to a first-class solution to the issue.”

The NWRCA also awarded the Integration and Collaborative Working award to the North West Construction Hub, of which Eric Wright Construction is a proud member alongside industry peers.
