Eric Wright Civil Engineering part of the Eric Wright Group are currently on site at Pooley Bridge in Cumbria, installing the innovative new bridge after the original bridge was washed away in the 2015 floods by Storm Desmond.
The Civil Engineering team has recently visited Stainton and Newbiggin Playgroup to make a generous donation of £250. The local playgroup welcomes parents and carers from all areas, creating a sense of community in the rural area. Whilst running the Nursery and forest school during term time they also arrange regular play dates, outings and get together’s during the holidays. Our donation will go towards new storage for the playgroup, ensuring they can keep a tidy and welcoming environment for all.
The donation is part of the Pooley Bridge Community Action Fund in which local groups and community organisations can apply for help or funding. The playgroup was the first awarded through the project and we hope to help many more groups and organisations in the local area throughout the delivery of the Pooley Bridge project.
