Auction Prize raises £900 at the IWFM North Charity Ball

Back by popular demand, IWFM North Region hosted their charity ball last night at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester.

Over 400 workplace and facilities professionals attended this prestigious and fun black tie themed social event, which included a fantastic three-course meal, live music, entertainment, charity raffle and a DJ.

For the second year running, the Eric Wright Charitable Trust kindly donated an auction prize for the charity raffle of a fantastic day out to be enjoyed by up to 8 people at the Eric Wright Water Park based on Lake Coniston in Cumbria. The highest bidder could take part in numerous activities in the beautiful Lake District location, like sailing, kayaking, canoeing, high ropes and rock climbing. This fantastic prize has raised in excess of £900 towards the two charities supported by IWFM – the Rainbow Trust and Shelter.

EWFM attended the event and would like to say a big thank you to their wonderful guests for attending and making the evening so enjoyable. A special thank you to Tim and Manuel from Future Cleaning for their very generous donation to Rainbow Trust, resulting in their table winning champagne and chocolates! An extra special well done goes to our ex colleague Blair Fotheringham for running a marathon in the foyer of the Hilton hotel to raise money also for the Rainbow Trust.
