The Eric Wright Group operate an integrated management system across the whole of the Group, and manage our assessed and validated directly employed supply chain in a similar way. We are fully accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
Our approach to health and safety, quality and environmental management is based on a process of continuous improvement and rigorous monitoring, both in terms of internal audits and quality inspections which are carried out by our in-house team of qualified auditors, as well as through the utilisation of external auditors.
Our overall ethos and approach to our clients is that we will never compromise health and safety, quality or environmental standards for either price or programme.
We are active members of Considerate Constructor, Lancashire Business Environment Association, British Safety Council and the Association for Project Safety.

All works are signed off by a member of the senior management team, who takes overall responsibility for the scheme.

At Eric Wright, environmental protection is an important part of our work, and we are committed to operating our business in a wholly responsible way to preserve the world in which we all live.
We have identified key objectives within the development of our business which will continually improve our overall environmental performance. We are doing this in the following ways:
- staff training and awareness around recycling and waste minimisation
- smarter and more efficient design and construction achieving BREEAM Excellent for health, office, schools and in-use.
- high EPC for our health and commercial portfolio
- greening of fleet vehicles and company cars to reduce carbon emissions and reduce our overall carbon footprint
- local sourcing of materials and labour
- use of on-line tools such as WRAP, the Carbon Trust, the Energy Saving Trust , together with the training and accreditation of in-house BREEAM assessors to support our clients in the achievement of BREEAM.

We take our commitment to health and safety very seriously, and have a dedicated Group health and safety manager, who is supported by a team of four qualified health and safety professionals within the company. We actively encourage our staff to identify potential health and safety initiatives which will reduce risk within our business - many of these recommendations are actioned. The health and well-being of our staff is paramount to the success of our business and we support this through; occupational health checks on site, gym facilities at our head office for use by all staff; subsidised BUPA membership; children's nursery on site; healthy eating awareness campaigns, and a Company doctor on site weekly for staff consultations.

The Eric Wright Group is committed to improving our environmental performance and action responsibly in the procurement of construction, civil and development projects.
With the environment and its majoring factors placed so highly on the agenda within all of our schemes we, as a company, have taken many steps to address this.
As a company highly involved with public sector authorities there is a realisation and awareness that capital cost is not only important but indeed the running costs are paramount on any scheme.
Having partnered with several forward thinking clients we have recent experience of installing and commissioning innovative service schemes including photo-voltaics, solar panels, ground heat source recovery, grey water recycling, sedam roof systems, wind generated energy as well as energy efficient fixtures and fittings.
