Continuous Improvement

All Eric Wright projects are reviewed by way of interim and post contract appraisals which are attended by the site team and senior managers from within the organisation.

By enhancing ideas and techniques utilised on a variety of existing contracts, innovation or alternative methods of working can be employed where appropriate to benefit future schemes and promote continuous improvement.

Key Performance Indicators

The Eric Wright Group has introduced and established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as a tool to monitor our effectiveness, against industry and internal standards, in order to set targets to assist in continuous improvement. Our KPIs are measured against performance data published each year by the HSE, Constructing Excellence and Eric Wright Group divisions. We have defined 36 KPIs in seven key areas. These areas are Corporate Social Responsibility, Quality, Environmental, Carbon, Health and Safety, Human Resources and Life Cycle (sustainability of the operational building)

Innovation

The Eric Wright Group has an enviable reputation for embracing innovation, not only in technology but in procedural administration too. We seek to add value at every stage of our projects and have adopted a suite of procedures ensuring evaluation of added value opportunities throughout the project life cycle. Our project ethos and approach to project delivery is one of flexibility, responsiveness, agility & collaboration. This strategy seeks to take on board the ‘added value’ approach by reducing risk through agility and our propensity to be responsive to change via full engagement with the client body.

From project inception, we identify key stakeholder groups and their respective issues and fully incorporate findings into the design and project management process.

Quality Awards

As evidence of our commitment to delivering high quality office buildings we recently received a number of awards at the LABC Building Excellent Awards, which recognise excellence achieved through building standards, technical innovation and sustainable designs; and celebrate the very best construction in the region.

Bolton One, Leisure, Research and Education Centre received a Commendation in the Best Community Building category and finalist in Best Education Development while Townside Office and Premier Inn, Bury scooped first place in the Best Large Commercial Building category.
