Partnerships

The Group has established a number of strategic partnerships within the health, social care and education sectors. Working closely with our long term partners, we have been successful in developing partnerships that are based on openness, honesty and transparency, whilst delivering value for money solutions for our clients.

 

Over the past 10 years we have designed, developed, and now operate, over 40 buildings in partnership with our public sector clients providing a range of services, which include;

  • estate, property and facilities management
  • strategic planning
  • financial management and investment
  • energy and carbon management
  • development and partnerships

In January 2012, in response to the changes within the public sector, we restructured our public sector division, and launched the new Eric Wright Partnerships (EWP) division.  The new Division will bring in additional, focused skills and provide flexible and seamless solutions that respond to our clients' changing needs.

Community

The charitable roots of the Group are embedded in our strategic partnerships, with dedicated time and resource allocated to ensure we maximise our impact within the communities in which we work. We contribute through;

  • Apprenticeship, training and work opportunities
  • Materials and labour sourced locally to improve the overall gross value add
  • Community engagement and stakeholder focus, which includes community art work and locally based projects

Continuous Improvement

We continually strive to improve the level of service we provide to our clients - we do this in a number of ways;

  • Knowledge Transfer Partnership with UCLAN employing KTP Associates to work within our business focussing on sustainability and continuous improvement
  • Targeted key performance indicators and continuous improvement indicators
  • Accreditation from external assessors such as BRE and Investors in People

Awards

We do not seek recognition from our commitment to our partners, but it is nice that sometimes it is acknowledged.

Eric Wright Construction has been perfect private sector partners throughout the design and construction of Breightmet Health Centre.  They blended the needs and aspirations of these stakeholders to produce a high quality and functional building.  They added a dimension to the scheme that I doubt we could have secured with any other partner.
