Lancaster University cTAP Site Receives Performance Beyond Compliance

Well done to Graham Sullivan and the team at the new cTAP Building at Lancaster University on being awarded a Considerate Constructors Performance Beyond Compliance Certificate.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme, a national initiative set up in 1997, is a voluntary code of practice which helps to maintain the industry’s ethical standards, ensuring that all firms are sensitive to the environment, communities and neighbourhoods in which they work.

The Code consists of the following five sections:

  • Care about Appearance
  • Respect the Community
  • Protect the Environment
  • Secure everyone’s Safety
  • Value their Workforce

All registered sites are monitored and only those who are performing at the highest levels are rewarded.

To receive Performance Beyond Compliance a site must score 7 or more points in each of the five sections of the Monitor’s Company Report demonstrating their commitment to the code.

The site received an excellent score of 39/50 and we are proud to have been recognised for this achievement.
