Applethwaite, the residential division of the Eric Wright Group, has teamed up with local Forton cricket team, Shireshead Ladies, in its maiden sports sponsorship deal.
The partnership sees Applethwaite become the Shireshead Ladies Cricket Team’s principal sponsor.
The house builder purchased the new kit, which adorns its official logo, on behalf of the village team, who won its inaugural match against Holme Ladies by 23 runs.
Established in 2004, Applethwaite provides exceptional quality homes in small developments with individual character. To differentiate itself from volume house builders, the firm’s focus is comfortable family homes that reflect traditional style, but satisfy the needs of modern living.
Having operated from its Cumbria base for 11 years, the business has been brought into the Eric Wright fold and is managed from the group’s headquarters in Bamber Bridge, Preston.
