Fantastic Considerate Constructors Score for The Brickworks

Well done to John Hartnett and the site team for achieving a high score on their recent considerate constructors report after their first visit.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme, a national initiative set up in 1997, is a voluntary code of practice which helps to maintain the industry’s ethical standards, ensuring that all firms are sensitive to the environment, communities and neighbourhoods in which they work.

The Code consists of the following five sections:

  • Enhancing the Appearance
  • Respecting the Community
  • Protecting the Environment
  • Securing everyone’s Safety
  • Caring for the Workforce

All registered sites are monitored and only those who are performing at the highest levels are rewarded.

To receive Performance Beyond Compliance a site must score 7 or more points in each of the five sections of the Monitor’s Company Report demonstrating their committment to the code.

The site received an excellent score of 42/50
