Eric Wright Water Successfully Appointed to the Yorkshire Water Framework

We are delighted to confirm that Eric Wright Water, a division of Eric Wright Group along with CEMA Clayton Consortium, Damar and Nomenca have been appointed by Yorkshire Water to its new £100m mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, controls and automation (MEICA) Framework.

This is the first step in developing what is hoped to be a long term relationship with Yorkshire Water.  The new Framework will be for 5 years with an option to extend for a further 5.

We are currently working closely with Yorkshire Water to identify an office and stores facility around the Leeds area to support the operation.

A key element of the contract will be to ensure that 720 sewage pumping stations that have recently been transferred to Yorkshire Water are brought up to the company’s standards.

The MEICA framework will provide Yorkshire Water with a fast and efficient delivery route where capital work can go straight into delivery.  Our new Framework will contribute to Yorkshire Water’s £3.8bn investment programme over the next 5 years to deliver better quality drinking water, cleaner rivers and higher standards of customer service.”
