Eric Wright Water Poised for Growth with Senior Appointment

Eric Wright Water’s Bromsgrove office has recruited Mark Wright to the newly-created position of framework manager for the Midlands.

The company changed its name from Site Electrical to Eric Wright Water on 1st January following the acquisition by Eric Wright Group in 2011. The new name highlights the company’s track record in water and waste water, a focus that is also reflected by Mark’s skills and experience.

His appointment has been prompted by Eric Wright Water’s success in winning a framework agreement with Severn Trent for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance across the water company’s southern area.

The two year framework has an option for three year extension and covers all Severn Trent’s water and waste water treatment assets across Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire.

Mark joins the company after 23 years in the water sector in a mix of operational and key account management roles. He moved into the sector from the construction industry and spent 21 years with Severn Trent and a further two with South Staffs Water before deciding to move contractor-side again with Eric Wright Water.

Mark’s role will also involve development of the Bromsgrove office’s client base across the Midlands, Wales and the South West.

Comments Mark: “Eric Wright Water’s Bromsgrove office has established a strong presence in the Midlands which has been built on both the experience of Site Electrical and the high quality and service standards delivered across the Eric Wright Group.

“This role offers me a fantastic opportunity to continue working within the water industry, leveraging my client-side experience to help the company continue to expand and ensure that we consistently provide the mix of services and quality standards that our clients require to drive growth.”
