CECA Success for Eric Wright Civil Engineering

Greystone Footbridge, constructed by Eric Wright Civil Engineering, has been awarded Project of the Year Under £5m at the CECA Awards 2016.

The new footbridge replaces the old “Sausage Bridge” over the M62, allowing over 400 people a day to safely cross the M62.

Greystone Footbridge is illuminated at night and caters for cyclists and pedestrians. The project was undertaken in a short space of time with the old bridge being demolished in August 2015 and the new bridge installed over a single weekend in October.

The project is a credit to everyone involved and we are delighted to have been presented with this prestigious award.
