In 1998 The Eric Wright Trust purchased the 65-acre Water Park Estate and created an Outdoor Adventure Centre, set on the shore of Coniston Water and providing accommodation for up to 37 people.

The Trust was set up to help young people in financial need and a stay at Water Park provides a stimulating and memorable experience for such youngsters, as well as groups from schools and other organisations.

Also, as the perfect place for management, team building and purely recreational courses, Water Park is also available to corporate clients.
