Blackburn Cathedral Quarter
Maple Grove has been selected as development partner by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and Blackburn Cathedral for this flagship mixed use town centre project.

The scheme comprises two office buildings, two hotels, accommodation for the clergy, shops and restaurant space as well as car parking and a 'youth zone'. The buildings are arranged to create a new 'Cathedral Close' within which a new public square will be formed.
The scheme has been incorporated within a Supplemental Planning Document now adopted by the Council. The first phase will see the construction of a 21st century facility for the town's young people to spend their leisure time. The £5.8 million Blackburn Youth Zone will be a three storey building with a wide range of facilities including a multi use games area on the roof, a climbing wall within the sports hall and a dedicated dance studio.
